Description We are looking for a Learning Mentor to work with us to provide maternity cover on a Fixed Term contract. You will work as part of a team to plan and deliver a wide range of extra-curricular activities for learners with EHCPs to meet their specified outcomes and facilitate greater independence, enabling learners in receipt of high needs funding and those with declared support needs to access learning and College facilities, aiding retention and achievement. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of organised workshops, to learners with additional needs. You will play a key role in the learners success, achievement and progress, and centre the workshops around their individual needs. Subjects covered will include exam skills, social skills, study skills, life skills and employability skills. You will also work closely with the rest of the Additional Learning Support Team, planning the delivery of extra curricular activities for learners with EHCP’s, to meet their specified outcomes.
