If you are experienced mechanical technician with a background working on plant equipment then this could be ideal for you. This could also suit someone with experience in other mechanical maintenance roles or someone with a background in the motor trade who is looking to move into a new industry.
The company are a leading plant hire business who supply a range of equipment across different industries (this role will mainly be working on construction plant equipment)
As a skilled Plant Technician, you will maintain equipment to the highest standards, ensuring it consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Day-to-day Of The Role
- Conduct equipment repair and pre-hire inspections.
- Perform maintenance on various equipment.
- Handle electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
- Service and inspect all equipment regularly.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained with the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience within the plant hire or equipment industry.
- Team player with a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to the working environment.
- A full UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification.
