A great opportunity has arisen for a construction project manager to join a leading consultancy at the forefront of the industry.

To manage and deliver the design and implementation of retail highway and car park related projects from feasibility through to construction and handover, programme, budget, quality, and health & safety requirements around the UK.

High level of communication across all levels of management, to develop and establish a brief for the project that clearly defines all objectives. Setting of measurable objectives and timelines of all elements within the projects; and managing other consultant disciplines and contractors to ensure delivery to cost, time and quality standards.

Maintain records and work folders - ensuring all work is checked and appropriately approved for distribution. Managing of all retail construction / re-development projects in a live environment. Through engagement and consultation with our client and their stakeholders, chair meetings, both internally and externally to capture actions and ensure these are closed out.

Management of external design teams, cost management consultants and contractors is required to ensure timely completion within budget and timelines.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications

  • Educated to degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant subject
  • CSCS card - Black/gold/white (or possess the qualifications to achieve)
  • Working with retail clients / Managing retail construction / redevelopment
  • Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Full driving license and own car with ability to travel within the UK
