Contract Details

- Grade: TSPT 6, points 17 - 21
- Salary: £11,325 - £12,425 (FTE £27,261 - £29,900)
- Hours: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
- Mon - Thurs 9:15am - 2:45pm with 30-minute unpaid break
- Start date: 1st September 2026
Role Overview
This admin role is based out of class and involves supporting the achievement for children in vulnerable groups including children with SEND. The successful candidate will work under the professional direction of the SENCO as part of the professional team to support learning activities for pupils. Experience of the SEND Code of Practice would be an advantage, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the management and support of pupils during learning activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with individual pupils and groups.
- Review and develop own professional practice.
- Deal with pupils’ therapeutic, pastoral and personal care needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience of the SEND Code of Practice (advantage, not essential).
- Full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and checks regarding proof of ID, medical clearance and the right to work in the UK.
