At Pinewood School, we have a rewarding opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated, and resilient Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant, caring team. You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs including Learning Difficulties, Autism, Speech, Language & Communication, & Behavioural Needs. You will support them under the guidance of our experienced and nurturing teaching staff. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming school, where mutual respect underpins everything we do. No experience in SEN or as a Teaching Assistant?

Knowledge & Experience
- A good standard of education particularly in English and Mathematics
- Knowledge of the legal and organisational requirements for maintaining the health, safety and security of yourself and others in the learning environment
- Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice (desirable but not essential as full training will be given)
- Experience of supporting children in a classroom environment
- Experience of using Information Technology to support pupils in the classroom
