Middleton Primary and Nursery School are looking for reliable and hardworking cleaners to join our team who are committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our children.

The role is working 10 hours per week (2 hours per day) from 5.45am – 7.45am, Monday to Friday. The post is all year round with 25 days per year annual leave to be taken during the school holidays. Working hours can be condensed during school holidays.

We currently have two vacancies:

1 x Cleaner (responsible for cleaning the hall floor using a buffing machine)

1 x Cleaner

The successful candidate(s) will take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all pupils and staff, demonstrating attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work. Duties will include: vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting and glass cleaning. Knowledge of health and safety would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the successful applicant.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and medical clearance.
