Place Partnership is seeking a dedicated Premises Officer atMiddlestown Primary Academy to join our wider Estates Team and play a vitalrole in ensuring our academy sites remain safe, secure and fully operationalfor children, staff and visitors. This is a varied and rewarding role thatcombines site maintenance, health and safety compliance, security responsibilitiesand operational support.
As a Premises Officer, you will be responsible for theday-to-day upkeep of academy buildings, grounds and facilities. You willundertake routine maintenance, support statutory compliance checks, helpmaintain site security and contribute to the smooth running of academyoperations.
You will also act as a key holder, participate in openingand closing procedures, and support events, deliveries and contractormanagement across the site.
Middlestown Primary Academy is a mixed 3–11 primary academythat was established in 1928 and set within expansive grounds. Our school is situatedin the heart of Middlestown, a semi-rural village close to the city ofWakefield.
The working pattern for the role is 27.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday, with working hours negotiable and to be agreed with the successfulcandidate.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a premises, facilities ormaintenance role
- Good understanding of health and safetypractices
- Good organisational and time managementabilities
- Basic ICT skills, including email and managementsystems
- The ability to work independently and as part ofa wider team
- A flexible approach to working hours and emergencycallouts
