It’s about the achievements of our students, alumni and staff and the successful partnerships that make our community into a more inspiring place to live, study and work. /n The role /n As a Public Relations (PR) & Faculty Communications Officer, you will act as a strategic business partner to MDX Studios in the Faculty of Arts & Creative Industries, delivering engaging, creative and high-quality written content. Our arrangements for Faculty support are reviewed periodically in line with the team's needs. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the University’s brand and reputation by developing compelling editorial features, media articles and digital-first content that showcases our academic excellence, research impact, student experience and societal contribution which reflects our ongoing shift towards a digital PR approach. /n This role is ideally suited to someone with experience working in a busy press office or as a journalist. We’re looking for a skilled writer and storyteller with a passion for higher education, media relations and digital engagement. Given the Faculty, a background in Creative Industries PR/communication would be particularly welcome. /n Who we're looking for - /n You're a skilled writer with strong news instincts and proven experience in PR, journalism, or corporate communications. You understand what makes a story compelling and how to adapt it for different platforms and audiences. You're confident advising senior leaders, able to manage competing priorities, and genuinely excited about using communications to drive positive change.
