Middlesex University is seeking an experienced, efficient, and strategic CRM Communications Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-impact, data-driven communications supporting student recruitment, engagement and retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage the migration to a new CRM system, ensuring continuity of service.
- Optimize communications through enhanced automation, segmentation and personalisation.
- Lead a team of CRM professionals to design and manage end-to-end communication journeys across email, SMS, telephone and other outbound channels.
- Create compelling nurture campaigns, oversee audience segmentation and lead scoring.
- Ensure all communications align with the University’s brand, tone of voice and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CMA).
- Report and manage performance, using data and insights to test, measure and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Analyse competitor activity and sector trends to shape innovative communication strategies.
- Maintain high quality and impact in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while upholding excellent standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CRM and email marketing platforms, including campaign automation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively with admissions, marketing and recruitment teams.
- Excellent copywriting and analytical skills.
- Highly organised, able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience leading, managing and motivating a growing team.
