Help capture and share the stories that bring Middlesex to life. Middlesex University is looking for an experienced Digital Content Coordinator to join our Student Recruitment, Marketing and Communications team.
Responsibilities
- Support Digital Content Officers with planning, capture, editing, coordination and organisation of content across social media, web and wider digital channels.
- Create content that feels current, engaging and useful for our audiences, including photography, short‑form video, event coverage, student‑led storytelling, website updates and content libraries.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the University, student contributors and external suppliers to produce content that is clear, accurate, well‑organised and on brand.
- Ensure content can be reused effectively across different channels, campaigns and teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience creating or supporting digital content.
- Comfortable planning and capturing photo and video content, especially for social media and digital channels.
- Strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage several pieces of work at a time.
- Experience with short‑form video, photography, social media content, event capture, content planning or digital asset management is particularly valuable.
- Understanding of how to create content for different audiences and channels; higher education experience is not required.
Working conditions
This role is based at our Hendon campus, with an expectation of working on campus three days a week. Availability during key points in the University calendar, such as Open Days, offer holder events and Clearing, will be important and planned in advance.
