Join Middlesex University at a pivotal moment in our CRM transformation and help shape a more insight-led, data-driven approach to student recruitment. We are seeking a highly analytical CRM Data and Insights Officer to manage, interpret and optimise data within our CRM systems, supporting targeted recruitment and conversion activity. Reporting to the CRM Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering actionable insights that enhance campaign performance, improve segmentation strategy and inform decision-making across the student journey.
This role sits at the heart of our transition from legacy systems to a new enterprise CRM platform. You will ensure data integrity, governance and usability throughout this transformation, maintaining continuity while unlocking new analytical capability. Your work will directly influence how we personalise communications, score and manage leads, and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion rates.
You will take ownership of CRM data quality, leading on segmentation strategy and ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance. Working closely with Digital and Library Services, you will embed best practice in data management processes including deduplication, tagging, source tracking and lead scoring. By analysing behavioural, demographic and engagement data, you will identify key audience groups and optimisation opportunities across campaign journeys.
You will produce regular and ad-hoc performance reports, develop dashboards and visualisations, and translate complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders. Your ability to communicate insight effectively will empower colleagues across marketing, digital and events teams to make evidence-based decisions.
We are looking for candidates with substantial CRM experience, strong analytical capability and demonstrable expertise in segmentation, campaign analysis and data visualisation. You will be proficient in CRM databases, Excel and tools such as Power BI or similar reporting platforms. A strong understanding of GDPR and data protection principles is essential.
We offer 30 days’ annual leave plus University closure days and Bank Holidays, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and a supportive, inclusive environment committed to equality of opportunity. If you are detail-oriented, insight-driven and motivated by using data to deliver measurable impact, we encourage you to apply and help shape the future of CRM at Middlesex University.
