About the Role
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our growing team. This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading BIM delivery across multiple drylining, partition and ceiling packages on large-scale construction projects. Working closely with our Design, Pre-Construction, Commercial and Operational teams, you will manage BIM processes, coordinate project models, resolve technical queries, and ensure design information is delivered accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will have experience working within a BIM environment, strong Revit capabilities, and a proactive approach to managing model coordination, technical compliance and project delivery. A background in drylining, partitions, ceilings or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageous.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead BIM delivery across multiple live projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Manage and coordinate project models using Revit and associated BIM platforms.
- Develop, maintain and implement BIM standards, processes and workflows across the business.
- Review, manage and resolve drawing comments, technical queries and coordination issues.
- Coordinate design information between consultants, architects, main contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure BIM deliverables are produced in accordance with project requirements, programmes and agreed protocols.
- Support project teams with clash detection, model reviews and coordination workshops.
- Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) processes and document control procedures.
- Work closely with Design Managers and project teams to develop practical, buildable solutions.
- Assist with project planning, sequencing and technical coordination activities.
- Monitor BIM quality standards and ensure consistency across project deliverables.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Middlesex's BIM capability, systems and best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience managing BIM delivery on large-scale construction projects.
- Minimum 5 years' experience using Revit in a professional construction or architectural environment.
- Experience coordinating and managing projects within a BIM environment.
- Strong understanding of drawing management, technical reviews and design coordination processes.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within drylining, interiors or specialist subcontracting desirable.
- Understanding of BIM standards and industry best practice, including ISO 19650, desirable.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or a related design, engineering or construction discipline preferred.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
