We are here to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough. Open Door North East are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join their team. If you have a background in the housing sector or experience working with vulnerable adults, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping refugees integrate and grow in independence in the UK.

The Support Worker will provide early intervention and tailored support to newly granted refugees following the discontinuation of asylum support. The role is focused on helping individuals understand their housing options, integrate into the local community, and access essential services within Stockton Borough.

The postholder will work in Stockton-based locations for at least 3 days per week, and at least one day per week with the ODNE team in Middlesbrough, working collaboratively to deliver joined-up support.
