We are here to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough. The Link Charitable Trust (LCT) is a Redcar based charity dedicated to supporting children, young people, families, and adults. Established in 2016, The LCT has built a strong reputation across Redcar and Cleveland for improving wellbeing and empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives. This is achieved through a wide range of emotional, social, and wellbeing focused activities and services offered within the community. We provide open access support, advice, and guidance for as long as it is needed.

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead this highly respected charity through its next phase of growth. Over the past 18 months, the charity has experienced significant development and change, strengthened its governance and reaffirmed its core values. With a rebrand on the horizon, we are looking for a strong, visionary leader to help realise our ambitions, shape the future of the organisation, and maximise its potential.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in the charitable sector, with a strong understanding of governance and the ability to deliver it effectively. They will be capable of developing and implementing a strategic plan that supports sustainable growth while meeting the evolving needs of the local community. A proven track record in securing major grants, managing contracts, and working collaboratively across sectors and partnerships is essential. Experience in introducing innovative approaches to strengthen financial sustainability is highly desirable.

The successful candidate must be exceptionally well-organised, with outstanding leadership and teamwork skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
