Kidz Konnekt are recruiting for an Outdoor Education & Activities Leader.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Developing and delivering projects to support the work of Kidz Konnekt
- Organising, delivering, and monitoring Outdoor Adventure & Educational Activities
- Leading and directing a team of trainees with the support of the Senior Outdoor Officer
- Developing School Partnerships, Alternative Ed, and Enterprise Initiatives to generate income
- Developing and delivering DofE programmes for schools and the community
- Organising and delivering outdoor themed projects/activities from a Youth Club setting
- Monitoring, creating, and developing safe outdoor practice within the Organization
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To establish contact and work with young people within the community to develop their outdoor experiences and education
- To enable young people to identify issues affecting their lives and develop a program of activities to address those issues, encouraging young people to participate in the planning
- To work closely with the Senior Outdoor Education Officer in delivering the Project Outcomes
- To establish effective working relationships with other professional and voluntary bodies that encourage partnership working in service delivery for C&YP
- To establish and maintain relationships with schools and youth organizations to generate income for the Konnekt Outdoors Enterprise
- To attend all relevant meetings related to the post
- To produce and/or present written or oral reports as required
- To adhere to Kidz Konnekt policies, procedures, and values
- To meet targets and deadlines as per agreed work plans
