We are looking for a Multi Skilled Tradesperson Supervisor, with experience in all aspects of building maintenance and repairs. You will have an eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high standards and producing quality work. You must also be prepared to work in several different environments, including the maintenance of historic, modern, residential, office and commercial buildings.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical experience and strong general building skills and will hold relevant qualifications.
Main Tasks and Duties:- Perform a variety of skills to repair and maintain the building fabric, fixtures and fittings to various styles of properties including houses, commercial buildings, offices etc.
- Carry out all general building works, including plastering, brickwork, roofing repairs, replacement guttering etc.
- Operate all power tools, hand tools and machinery to the required level and standard.
- Identify and report any defects to Community Campus 87 properties identified during the course of your work.
- Undertake such personal staff development as is agreed to be necessary for the development of the role and the individual.
- Set a high standard of professionalism, including maintaining regular contact with colleagues.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and continually seek ways of improving the service for which the post is responsible.
- Undertake an annual appraisal which clearly identifies targets for continued improvement.
- Take proactive responsibility for Health & Safety at all times, reporting accidents, incidents and near misses which may affect staff, customers and visitors.
- Other duties may be required within the general scope of the post.
This is a full time post 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You will work at our properties located within Stockton, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool areas. A company van will be provided.
Employment will be subject to a Clear, Enhanced D.B.S Certificate (ideally you will be on the Update Service allowing for an immediate start) and satisfactory references.
