This Chief Accountant position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Finance (Deputy Section 151 Officer), offering close collaboration with senior leadership and visibility across the Council. You will lead and manage a large, skilled finance team, driving technical excellence, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring the integrity of the Council's systems and processes.
Job Description
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
