We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal and IT skills and with experience of working in a frontline admin office.

Please state in your application form any work experience that you have to demonstrate that you can meet the following requirements:

  1. That you would be confident working in a call centre environment by being able to use a computer system whilst handling a telephone call.
  2. That you have the ability to interact with customers and service users face to face and on the telephone with a pleasant manner.
  3. Excellent ICT and keyboard skills.

Include all your relevant admin / office experience and/or any related ICT qualifications (if you have them).

Tees Community Equipment Service is a service that operates throughout the Teesside area and supplies equipment that can assist disabled people to live independently within their own homes and you must share our passion to ensuring we continue to deliver a high quality of service to our Service Users.

You will be working in a small but at times, very busy call centre and will be required to provide a wide range of administrative support including call handling and data entry at the same time.

The main duties include making incoming calls, making outgoing calls and coordinating with Service Users, their families, Health and Social Care Professionals and your colleagues to ensure the prompt delivery of medical equipment into clients’ homes.

Having excellent IT skills is essential and you will receive detailed training on how to use our bespoke IT system to arrange the deliveries and collections. Due to the nature of the work, a high level of confidentiality is required.

The post holder will be expected to be flexible and accommodating.

Please note, this is a fixed term contract until 31.03.2026.

The service operates between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and you will work from our offices at Unit 3 Raleigh Court Riverside Park Middlesbrough TS2 1RR.
