We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health Service as a Receptionist / Administrator. Do you have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills? Are you able to manage a busy reception? Are you experienced in providing a high level of excellent customer experience and professional administration support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team.

Working as part of Middlesbrough Council, our team supports those experiencing issues with substance use, domestic violence, and housing issues. You will be the first point of contact for our Service Users, providing reception cover across our three buildings, ensuring our service users, other professionals and partner agencies are dealt with pleasantly and promptly. You will be supporting our teams’ day-to-day operations and provide clerical support to managers, staff and service users.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be highly organized and able to multitask with ease.
  • Have a friendly and understanding approach when dealing with staff and clients.
  • Have great IT skills and experience with office management tools.
  • Have a problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
  • Have experience maintaining internal databases.
  • Have experience organizing, storing and printing company documents.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have experience providing a high level of professional administration support under high pressure.
