We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health team as a Public Health Service Support Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a customer-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for the service, providing high-quality support to residents. You will have a Making Every Contact Count and No Wrong Door approach.

You will assist customers with their needs while carrying out a range of administrative duties. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and teamwork skills, a commitment to customer service, and a desire to learn.

This role offers valuable experience in public health, customer service, and local government while helping improve the health and wellbeing of our Middlesbrough residents.

You will be based primarily at the Live Well Centre in central Middlesbrough but may be required to work at other locations across the town.

Training and development opportunities are available. As this is a front-facing role, blended working isn’t and option.

Evening and weekend work will be required on a rota basis.
