We have an exciting role on offer within our Highways and Infrastructure Fleet as a M.O.T. Site Manager and Q.C.
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced full-time MOT Site Manager & QC to join our team in Fleet Services based at our depot in Resolution House, Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough.
To be successful in this role you need to be experienced in vehicle maintenance and have knowledge of workshop Health and Safety. You will be able to test vehicles under time restraints and have a polite manner when dealing with customers, along with a flexible approach to work. Applicants must be qualified to City and Guilds, or equivalent; additional training will be available for the successful candidate. They also must hold a current category B driving license.
You will have a responsibility for working as part of a team undertaking MOT inspections to DVSA guidelines and Hackney Carriage/Private Hire testing to the required standard. You will also be responsible for carrying out quality control checks and audits of the MOT function and operations in accordance with the AEDM and Government guidelines.
The successful candidate will work as part of a two-shift system on a 5-day Monday to Friday pattern, with alternate weeks working 7:00am β 3:00pm and 9:00am β 5:00pm.
