We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a General Teaching Assistant Alternative Provision. This post is a key function within the Community Learning Service part of Middlesbrough Council. The purpose of this post is to assist and support teaching within the Alternative Provision at Community Learning's Lingfield College.

The successful applicant will:

  • Support the teacher in managing the pupils and classroom.
  • Establish good relationships with pupils and support all learning for learners with individual identified barriers to learning (SEN).
  • Promote the inclusion and interaction of all pupils and engage in activities.
  • Provide IAG to learners.
  • Promote Health and Wellbeing and comply with all practices and policies including Health Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, Learner Support and Equality and Diversity.
