We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a Community Learning Tutor (English/Employability). This post is a key function within Middlesbrough Community Learning, Middlesbrough Council’s adult learning and employability service. This is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping adults build confidence, skills and pathways into work, further learning and everyday life.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver engaging adult skills provision specialising in English up to Level 2.
- Deliver employability training and embed English, Maths, ICT, Safeguarding and Prevent.
- Teach in community venues, council buildings and online using Microsoft Teams.
- Support learners with feedback, progression and next steps into work or further learning.
- Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality and Ofsted requirements.
