We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health service as a Caseworker (Pharmacy Liaison). Are you resilient, proactive, and passionate about helping people in the local community make lasting changes? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join our Entry into Service Team. Here at Recovery Solutions, our multi-disciplinary team provides vital support to individuals experiencing challenges relating to substance use. We are committed to empowering our service users through tailored interventions and compassionate care, providing a pathway to recovery.
This is a caseworker role with a specialist focus on liaising with pharmacies. In this role, you will act as a key communication bridge between the service and community pharmacies, ensuring that prescription and medication-related processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with community pharmacies and other key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between the service and pharmacy partners.
- Manage prescription administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify client needs.
- Develop and implement tailored recovery plans.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
- Work proactively and flexibly to engage clients and meet service needs.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all processes and procedures.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations ideally those affected by substance use, domestic abuse, or homelessness.
- Experience in or with pharmacy services in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in multi-agency settings.
- Confidence in working independently and managing a varied caseload.
- A commitment to trauma-informed, strength-based approaches.
- Understanding of substance misuse treatment and recovery pathways.
- Due to the nature of this role: An enhanced DBS check against both adults and children is required. We will facilitate this for the successful candidate.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- You must have access to your own vehicle.
- Business insurance must be in place prior to starting the role (if not already held).
