We have an exciting role on offer within our Alternative Provision service as a Business Support Assistant. This is a rewarding role working as part of a friendly team in a busy environment. The focus is to provide support to both internal and external customers, offering information, advice and guidance and carrying out all other administrative duties in accordance with Middlesbrough Council’s Values. The role also provides the opportunity to develop new skills and gain further qualifications.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Undertake a variety of administrative duties which include reception duties, dealing with internal and external customers and managing course booking systems along with any other general admin tasks.
  • Provide support to the Alternative Provision service.
  • Provide direction for training in the administration section within the service.
  • Keep records and action financial duties within the service area.
  • Have a responsibility to report and record Health & Safety issues/Safeguarding incidents.
