We have an exciting role on offer within our Access and Safeguarding Service as a Business and Change Lead. Middlesbrough Council is seeking an exceptional Business Change Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming Adult Social Care and Health Integration services. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated and ambitious directorate that is progressing an exciting and far-reaching improvement journey.
In this influential position, you will lead and coordinate a wide range of strategic change programmes designed to improve the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of Adult Social Care. Working closely with operational leads, partners and the Service Improvement Team, you will shape and deliver key projects, support implementation of CQC recommendations and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the directorate.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional transformation projects aligned to our strategic priorities.
- Supporting delivery of the Directorate Improvement Plan and CQC quality improvement activity.
- Developing evidence-based reporting, insight and governance to track progress and impact.
- Facilitating co-production, engagement and innovation across teams and partnerships.
- Bringing external insights, best practice and creative thinking into Middlesbrough’s approach.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in leading change or transformation within Adult Social Care or the wider public sector.
- Brings strong project management skills, strategic thinking and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Is confident analysing data and evidence to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.
- Builds excellent relationships and thrives on collaboration.
- Is motivated by making services better for residents, families and communities.
