We have an exciting role on offer within our Adult Social Care and Health service as an Access Safeguarding Lead Officer. If you are an experienced manager looking for progression or a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you. We are looking for a values-driven, passionate Access Safeguarding Lead Officer to be part of our senior leadership team in an exciting period of transformation, partnership growth and innovation.
Within this service area, you will support adults across the lifespan, working with individuals with a diverse range of needs, including physical disabilities, autism, substance use, experiences of homelessness, and needs arising from abuse or neglect. You would be responsible for leading the DoLS Team, Access Safeguarding Team, Hospital Social Work Team and our East and West Locality Teams in delivering an effective social work service.
You will be expected to be an ambassador for practice standards, championing excellence in safeguarding practice; to lead service development; develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to deputise for the Head of Access Safeguarding.
