We have an exciting role on offer within our ICT service as an ICT Applications Analyst.
ICT Services are looking to recruit a talented ICT Applications Analyst to join our dynamic Applications team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Middlesbrough Council’s Digital Strategy and delivering transformational solutions.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and supporting the Council’s Applications Portfolio, ensuring critical business systems remain reliable and available. You will have current and proven experience in application support, systems integration, analysis & design, software development, testing and programming techniques.
Whilst the job description includes a multitude of requirements to cover the diverse nature of the applications we implement and maintain, ideally for this role you would have some knowledge in the implementation or support of one or more of the following technologies : MS SQL, SSRS, Oracle, razor pages, xHTML / HTML 5, XML, Java Script & jQuery, Web Services, WCF, C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET, forms design tools and Local Government applications.
As well as responsibility for the design, development, testing and implementation of any new bespoke application requirements including making changes to current applications, you will support business systems packages and resolve 3rd line incidents.
