We have an exciting role on offer within our Legal services as a Democratic Services Officer. The Council's Democratic Services Team is committed to providing a quality service to the Council, for the benefit of the people of Middlesbrough and we are now looking to expand our team by appointing a Democratic Services Officer.

The successful applicant will contribute to the effective organisation and delivery of the decision-making arrangements of the Council and in doing so ensure that the Council functions are delivered in an open and accountable way and in line with relevant legislative and procedural requirements. This will involve providing a range of support services relevant to the scrutiny process and the governance of meetings to assist in the provision of an effective and comprehensive support service to both Elected Members and Officers.
