We have an exciting role on offer within our Neighbourhoods team as a Community Development and Cohesion Worker.
Middlesbrough Neighbourhoods are seeking to recruit two experienced Community Development and Cohesion workers to support the delivery of a range of activities and initiatives throughout Middlesbrough.
The position will play in an integral role working across Middlesbrough encouraging and supporting residents to become more resilient, developing a better understanding of each other by promoting shared social and cultural values, delivering key outcomes related to community cohesion and resilience.
To be successful in this role you need 3.
Excellent standard of numeracy and literacy (Five GCSEs at C or above), and a full UK, clean driving license with proof of business insurance.
The successful candidates will work alongside statutory, voluntary, and community partners.
It s about helping communities genuinely come together, promoting, and constructing a vision of British values large enough for everyone to fit in.
