Overview

We have exciting roles on offer within our Prevention, Provider and Support Services for three Care Assistants, working 20 hours a week.

These posts will consist of regular, 4-hour shifts to provide support at peak times for the service, suitable for people who do not want long shifts.

Due to expansion of our service, an opportunity has arisen within 22 Levick Court, which provides care and support to adults with learning disabilities during their short stay respite breaks.

Levick Court offers short stay breaks for adults with learning disabilities and is a 24-hour service.

The building is purpose built, meeting the needs of a wide range of individuals.

We have spacious communal areas including multi-purpose activity rooms, sensory room, media room and secure gardens.

We have domestic and catering staff on site; however, this role does involve some additional housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

  • Follow individualised plans of care
  • Support service users in their chosen activities
  • Be committed to a customer-led service
  • Work as directed by senior staff
  • Communicate effectively to keep people engaged during their stay

Qualifications and requirements

  • It is desirable, though not essential, that applicants have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
