We have an exciting role on offer within our Specialist and Lifelong Services as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Lead.
About Us
Middlesbrough has AMHP’s working across Adult Social Care. Each AMHP participates on a weekly rota serving the people of Middlesbrough. This role aims to improve processes and ensure the AMHP service functions as efficiently as possible. The role will include allocating AMHP work, reviewing policies, providing meaningful supervision and acting as a liaison between all of the different partners involved in AMHP work.
To be successful in this role you need to be an experienced AMHP, work calmly under pressure and be able to balance the pressures of working as an AMHP and fulfilling other case work responsibilities.
You will have a responsibility for managing the AMHP rota, allocating AMHP work, managing CTO’s, reviewing policies, ensuring appropriate documentation is available to AMHP’s, ensuring assessments are input onto IT systems and working alongside partner agencies e.g. TEWV, Ambulance Services, Police etc.
