We are seeking a highly motivated and community-focused Anchor Institution Co‑ordinator to join Middlesbrough Council, playing a key role in contributing towards improving population health and wellbeing and tackling poverty and inequalities through anchor activity. This vital role will be instrumental in supporting both Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland Councils to develop, embed and evidence the social and economic benefits for both areas through wider collaboration across the anchor organisations and supporting social value in procurement of the South Tees Councils.

The main aim is to improve outcomes in both Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland areas in line with Council plans and priorities, health and wellbeing strategy and the joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA) using evidence‑based data to support.
