We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self‑motivated person with excellent interpersonal and IT skills and with experience of working in a frontline admin office. Tees Community Equipment Service is a service that operates throughout the Teesside area and supplies equipment that can assist disabled people to live independently within their own homes. You must share our passion for ensuring we continue to deliver a high‑quality service to our Service Users.
Responsibilities
- Work in a small but often very busy call centre and provide a wide range of administrative support including call handling and data entry.
- Take incoming calls, make outgoing calls and coordinate with Service Users, their families, Health and Social Care Professionals and colleagues to ensure the prompt delivery of medical equipment to clients’ homes.
- Use our bespoke IT system to arrange deliveries and collections, receiving detailed training to do so.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality as required by the nature of the work.
- Be flexible and accommodating to meet service needs.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic and self‑motivated with excellent interpersonal, IT and keyboard skills.
- Experience of working in a frontline admin office.
- Confidence working in a call centre environment, using a computer system while handling telephone calls.
- Ability to interact with customers and Service Users face‑to‑face and over the telephone in a pleasant manner.
- Strong ICT and keyboard skills.
Location & Hours
The service operates between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. You will work from our offices at Unit 3 Raleigh Court, Riverside Park, Middlesbrough, TS2 1RR.
