Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader
Salary: £23,555.00 – £24,631.18 per annum
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Full time, Permanent

Are you passionate about supporting adult learners and making a real difference in your community? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Vocational Learning Coach to join our Adult and Community Learning team.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Vocational Learning Coach, you will:
- Be the Specialist Additional Learning Support advisor within the ACL department.
- Work closely with the Curriculum area and have an input into planning and preparing for lessons.
- Ensure learning support is provided in all classes within the Curriculum area as managed by the Vocational Instructor.
- Prioritise the High Needs of adult learners when required.
- Attend regular Additional Learning Support Good Practice Forums, Vocational Learning Coach, and ‘At Risk’ meetings, regularly reporting Curriculum developments to the SEN Team.
- Link with the SEN team to ensure that the attention, retention, and achievement of the students with Additional Support Needs are monitored especially the High Needs/ SEN students.
What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates who hold:
- An appropriate Level 2 qualification or equivalent, in supporting students with learning difficulties/care or the commitment to complete within an agreed timescale.
- Grade 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Youth Work or Safeguarding qualification (Desirable)
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Risk Assessment Qualification – Desirable.
- First Aid Qualification – Desirable.
