The purpose of this role is to promote Adult & Community Learning, engage with referral partners, and support learners throughout their journey from referral to enrolment and completion. You will actively market provision across the community, coordinate candidate referrals, deliver Information, Advice and Guidance sessions, and maintain accurate learner and employer records. The role ensures learners are fully supported, referral targets are met, and all documentation and systems are kept up to date to enable effective decision-making and successful programme delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Actively market and promote Adult & Community Learning through social media platforms and at all external events.
  • Support the business with candidates who are looking to complete a BELP/SWAP.
  • Consult with all referral agencies so that they are aware of what the College is offering, including attending any relevant network meetings.
  • Facilitate Information Advice Guidance awareness sessions at the College/Community Hubs/Job Centre Plus for all referrals.
  • Be involved with the learners through Information Advice Guidance, enrolment, and induction.
  • Proactive in contacting all learners that did not attend and liaising with agencies in providing feedback on attendance.
  • Ensure that the minimum referral targets for training courses are consistently achieved.
  • Prepare weekly updates/reports to assist with decision making on future activity with specified groups.
  • Ensure CRM system is kept fully up to date.
  • Chase documentation — following up missing enrolments, ID, eligibility evidence, and other required documents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification (Level 2 or above) — desirable.
  • Commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong understanding of adult education, and skills funding streams (e.g., Adult Skills Funding, NEET, Distance Learning).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, and data protection principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet targets, and work independently and proactively.
  • Confident in using social media and digital platforms for promotional and engagement purposes.
