We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Site Electrician. The Site Electrician will report into the Estates department and provide a comprehensive electrical maintenance service all college buildings. The successful candidate will: Relevant Level 3 qualification, e.g., NVQ Diploma Must understand 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and Testing and Inspection of Electrical Systems qualification. Minimum 3 years industrial experience of working in an educational environment – desirable Able to use IT systems such as MS365, given the appropriate training Ability to install electrical systems and components (e.g., wiring, switches, lighting, transformers, switchboards, motors distribution boards). Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and appropriate tools.
