Salary: Β£29,565 - Β£43,562 per annum.

Contract: Full time, Permanent.

Teaching hours: 864 hours per annum.

Working hours: 37 hours per week.

Department: Construction.

Reporting to: Associate Director, Construction.

Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus bank holidays.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Plumbing within the Construction sector.
  • Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in key areas such as pipework systems, hot and cold water installations, sanitation, and heating systems.
  • Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world plumbing applications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students.
  • Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.

What We're Looking For

  • To be a qualified Teacher with Certificate in Education qualification or be willing to work towards.
  • Hold a level 3 qualification in Plumbing minimum.
  • GCSEs at Grade C/ Level 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Hold Assessor L3 and Verifier L4 qualifications or be willing to work towards.
