Department: Health & Social Care. Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader in Health & Social Care. Basis: Hourly paid, Permanent. Pension: Teachers\’ Pension Scheme.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver and oversee high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Plan programmes of study that cater to the needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
  • Foster students’ academic and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential.
  • Design and implement lesson plans that bridge theory and real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the learning experience and meet diverse student needs.
  • Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through personalised guidance and support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold a relevant minimum Level 3 qualification (essential).
  • Be a qualified teacher or be willing to work towards it.
  • Hold a relevant Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Have GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge and/or experience of teaching Health & Social Care.
  • Exhibit effective classroom management, time management, and strong communication skills.
