Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice Level 3 (Registry & Exams)

Salary: £14,565 per annum for first 12 months, rising to National Minimum Wage for Age
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Apprenticeship Contract, Full Time, Fixed Term, L3 Apprenticeship Duration

The Business Administration Apprentice will provide essential support to the Head of Registry and Exams Team Leader, ensuring accurate maintenance of Registry and Exams data, documentation, and record validation. They will assist with data input and control processes while delivering a professional, efficient, and customer‑focused service to both staff and students.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be responsible for the enrolment of learners and maintaining the college’s student records and exams systems and support the implementation and maintenance of procedures associated with Registry and Exams Processes.
- Respond to queries via telephone, email, letter and face to face.
- Handle document management including photocopying, scanning and printing documents for the Registry and Exams Department.
- Managing and distributing the Registry and Exams department post, both incoming and outgoing.
- Registering students with the relevant awarding organisations and claiming certificates in a timely manner.
- Support the Exams teams with managing exam access arrangements.
- Provide support with coding invoices.
- Assist with the validation of student data in a controlled and timely manner and coordinate the correction of any data issues identified.
- Undertake regular and systematic checks on student records using internal and external reports and coordinate the correction of records.
- Contribute to the preparation and production of timely and accurate data and exams returns when required.
We Seek Candidates Who
- Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
Knowledge & Skills
