We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Recruitment Officer within the Human Resources department. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, end-to-end recruitment service that supports the College’s workforce strategy, ensuring we attract, engage, and appoint talented individuals. You will play a key role in enhancing our employer brand, improving candidate experience, and supporting managers to make effective hiring decisions, ultimately contributing to the success of the College and its students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver targeted recruitment campaigns, selecting effective attraction methods to engage high-quality candidates.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to achieve successful hiring outcomes.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines, including strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
- Enhance employer branding through engaging vacancy content, social media, and careers pages.
- Use recruitment data and insights to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in HR, Recruitment, or a related field, with Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
- Proven experience of end-to-end recruitment, ideally within an in-house, agency, or education setting.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment legislation and best practice, including equality and diversity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused, with strong IT skills and attention to detail.
