We are seeking a skilled and passionate Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Beauty Therapy (Hourly Paid) to support the delivery of high-quality, practical training within our Beauty provision. This role is focused on training, demonstrating, and assessing learners in a range of beauty therapy treatments and techniques, ensuring they develop the skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours required for success in the industry. Working closely with teaching staff, you will support learners in workshops, salons, and real working environments, guiding them through competence-based programmes and helping them build confidence and industry-standard skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • To train, demonstrate, assess, and support students enrolled in competence-based or skills-based learning programmes.
  • To support lecturing staff in delivering competence-based skills aligned with standards set by external bodies, including industry-led organisations and awarding bodies.
  • To assist individual students/trainees in developing their personalised learning plans to achieve their objectives and meet externally defined standards.
  • To always ensure adherence to safe working practices.
  • To assist in providing guidance to students participating in the learning programmes, including conducting one-to-one tutorials.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Beauty qualification
  • Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Assessor and Verifier Awards – Desirable.
  • First Aid qualification – Desirable.

Experience

  • Up-to-date knowledge and hands-on experience in Beauty Therapy practice.
  • Aware of current and emerging issues within the Beauty industry that may influence curriculum delivery.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of career pathways in Beauty Therapy for learners aged 16–18 and adults aged 19 and over.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organisational abilities.
