We invite applications from experienced professionals across the Beauty sector, particularly those with qualifications in assessing or training. This hourly paid position focuses on supporting learners in developing essential skills such as communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and adaptability. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, relevant learning experiences that empower learners with the knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes needed to thrive in modern education, life, and the workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Train, demonstrate, assess, and support students enrolled in competence‑based or skills‑based learning programmes.
- Assist individual students/trainees in developing their personalised learning plans to achieve their objectives and meet externally defined standards.
- Always ensure adherence to safe working practices.
- Oversee the maintenance of learning resources and equipment used within the learning programme, reporting any faults or required repairs to the relevant technician or manager.
- Support the student application and enrolment process in collaboration with teaching and administrative staff.
- Assist in providing guidance to students participating in the learning programmes, including conducting one‑to‑one tutorials.
What we\’re looking for:
- Level 3 Beauty qualification
- Degree qualification or equivalent – Desirable
- Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English or equivalent
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Assessor and Verifier Awards – Desirable.
- First Aid qualification – Desirable.
