We are looking for a proactive Data Administrator to join our Registry Data Team, supporting the management of Further and Higher Education learner records and helping to ensure that data is accurate, compliant and up to date. This is a key administrative role where accuracy, organisation and excellent customer service are essential. You'll play an important part in ensuring learner data is maintained to the highest standards, supporting both students and staff across the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual data cycle and provide a professional, effective and customer focused Registry service.
- Maintain systems and procedures associated with records for Further (FE) and Higher Education (HE) learners including, but not limited to, processing enrolments, assisting with systematic checks for errors and omissions on learner records.
- Undertake identified, relevant data checks on the college learner record system following agreed procedures to ensure corrections are made in a timely manner to support the preparation and production of accurate statistical returns to external funding bodies.
- Assist with the validation of learner data in a controlled and timely manner and coordinate the correction of any data issues identified.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification or appropriate experience in a relevant capacity.
- Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Experience
- Experience in a similar data role including working with complex data, management information and databases.
- Experience of working in a busy and demanding environment.
- Experience of working in the education sector – Desirable.

- Good IT skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and eye for detail.
- Effective communication, excellent customer service and organisational skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work.
