Head of Talent Acquisition for their global business
; a critical leadership appointment reporting to the Chief People Officer and sitting as a member of the HR Leadership Team.

We're looking for a genuine player-coach for this role; someone who enjoys leading a small, high-performing direct sourcing team whilst personally owning complex, senior and confidential searches across an international landscape including UK, EU, Asia and US.
You should genuinely enjoy the executive search process, and thrive on building long-term relationships in markets where reputation matters.
Alongside executive and lateral hiring across front, middle and back-office, you'll shape and evolve the global talent acquisition strategy, driving improvements across employer brand, early careers, candidate experience, recruitment technology and operational excellence.
Artificial Intelligence and automation will play an increasingly important role in how recruitment is delivered, but this organisation is equally passionate about preserving the human relationships and high-touch experience that differentiate exceptional hiring functions from average ones.
- What you'll be responsible for
- Leading the small global Talent Acquisition function and developing direct sourcing capability.
- Personally delivering executive and business-critical appointments across multiple international markets - particularly for leadership and revenue generating roles.
- Partnering with Executive Committee members and senior business leaders on strategic hiring and workforce planning.
- Building sophisticated talent pipelines across specialist commercial and corporate disciplines.
- Leading employer brand, recruitment marketing and global talent attraction initiatives.
- Developing an outstanding early careers proposition across graduate, internship and emerging talent programmes.
- Optimising recruitment operations through technology, AI and intelligent automation whilst maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
- Reducing agency dependency through world-class direct sourcing capability.
- Representing the organisation externally across industry events, networking forums and strategic talent partnerships.
- For this role, we are looking for recent, prior experience in leading international TA in;
- Financial Services sector i. e. Banking, Wealth, Sales & Trading, Interdealer Broking, Capital Markets etc — please note, this must be recent.
- c.15 years of relevant experience
- Must have international experience inclusive of US
- Must be hands-on and have demonstrable experience (and a passion for) senior, complex, and high-stakes sourcing.
- Experience of utilising technology and optimise your process.
- An ability to operate in a very high pace environment where speed of response and customer service / stakeholder management are critical to relationship building.
You'll be commercially astute, naturally credible with senior stakeholders and equally comfortable discussing succession planning with a Chief Executive as you are coaching a small team or engaging directly with executive candidates.
