Senior HR Compliance & Governance Manager Permanent London – hybrid Up to £140,000 + strong on target bonus Middlemore have partnered with a global financial services firm for the hire of a Senior HR Compliance & Governance Manager based in London. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the firms HR operations, policies, and processes are established and maintained in line with local regulation and legislation, as well as global standards. This role will focus specifically on the EMEA region. As the subject matter expert, you will collaborate with HR leaders and Business Managers, whilst partnering in a matrixed environment with SMEs from Legal, Compliance, Risk, Global Privacy, Audit and other HR leaders globally. Essential to the success of this role, is the ability to provide accurate and business focused advice, support HR teams in reviewing their practices to ensure compliance to legal and regulatory obligations and play an influential role in leading best practice and problem-solving. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in key HR compliance areas such as data privacy, regulatory requirements, and employment law, specifically an in depth understanding of UK employment law, financial regulations with a deeper knowledge and experience of FCA regulations, inclusive of SMCR, IFPR and MIFID. They will also have a deep understanding of HR operations and be able to demonstrate risk awareness, alongside working knowledge of governance and controls across EMEA.
