An incredibly exciting opportunity for a Senior Reward Interim to join a fantastic Financial Services Organisation at a crucial stage of its growth and transaction journey.
With a potential 2027 transaction ahead, the Reward agenda is moving quickly. The team is small, so this person will have genuine ownership and work closely with the Head of Reward as a trusted peer and sounding board.
Over the initial six months, you’ll take ownership of:
- Building grading and reward frameworks from scratch.
- Developing the annual compensation review process, including governance, guidelines and manager support.
- Leading day-to-day compensation cycles.
- Supporting IPO / transaction readiness, including PE investor discussions.
- Developing equity and post-IPO reward frameworks.
- Providing some US Reward support.
- Acting as a genuine partner & support to the Head of Reward.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on Reward delivery experience.
- Listed-company compensation experience.
- Ideally financial services, particularly insurance, with a regulated mindset.
- Comfortable operating credibly alongside a Head of Reward and challenging constructively.
- Happy working with data and transactional detail without a supporting team.
- Pragmatic, commercial and adaptable when priorities and timelines change.
Highly desirable:
- IPO readiness or listing preparation experience.
- Private equity exposure.
- Executive compensation and equity design.
- A mix of interim leadership and hands-on project delivery.
- Experience across both large and lean organisations.
- US Reward exposure.
Crucially....
This isn't a purely strategic adviser or consultant role. This will be a blended role of strategic output as well as hands on with building the framework, working with the data, running the compensation cycle and handling the detail, so a dual hat approach will work best.
