Middlemore are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed organisation operating in the technology services space to support them on the recruitment of a new HR Business Partner based in Nottingham, reporting to the HR Director who sits on the executive committee.

This is a high-impact HRBP role with genuine scope to influence, partnering closely with an MD and leadership team across a c.400 FTE workforce (c.50% field / 50% office).

The role:

  • Act as a trusted partner to the MD and leadership team, aligning people strategy with commercial priorities
  • Support the integration of a newly acquired business, aligning culture, structure, policies and ways of working
  • Drive performance and build manager capability across both office and field-based teams
  • Lead on complex ER matters, offering pragmatic, commercially balanced advice
  • Deliver key people initiatives across performance, engagement, talent and retention
  • Partner on organisational design, workforce planning and succession
  • Build and embed scalable HR processes to support continued growth
  • Lead and develop an HR Advisor, strengthening overall HR capability
  • Collaborate with central HR / specialist teams (Reward, L&D, Talent) to deliver a joined-up people approach
  • Support ongoing transformation and change in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Credible and confident HR professional, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Commercial, hands-on HR generalist who enjoys operating close to the business
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, operational / field-based environments
  • Curious, pragmatic and solutions-oriented
  • Ideally available within 1 month (or less)
  • Experienced in both core HR and managing wide-ranging HR projects
  • 10+ years of relevant HR Business Partnering experience
