Reporting to the UK HR Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing across multiple UK entities. Working with Workday as the system of record, they will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with UK legislation. They will also support audits, resolve payroll queries, and help deliver an outstanding employee experience.

The Payroll Specialist will act as the organisation's payroll subject matter expert, driving process improvements, optimising Workday functionality, reducing manual interventions, and supporting the consolidation of multiple payrolls into a streamlined managed service. They will play a significant role in standardising payroll processes and ensuring robust governance and controls are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end UK payroll experience, a strong understanding of HMRC, PAYE, pensions, and statutory requirements, together with practical experience of Workday.
