This hands-on HR Advisor role is ideal for someone ready to step up from pure administration, able to use their judgement and take ownership across advisory, coordination and data.

You will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees, help coordinate activity across the HR team, and take genuine ownership of HR data, reporting and continuous improvement. • Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and employees on policy, process and employment law matters.
  • Support employee relations activity (disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance, flexible working) and ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Coordinate across the HR team: manage approvals, organise activity and ensure actions don’t get lost across competing priorities.
  • Own HR data and reporting: extract, cleanse, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources/systems; Analyse workforce metrics (headcount, turnover, absence, diversity, recruitment, performance, engagement) and translate findings into insights and recommendations.
  • Support HR projects including process improvement, HRIS enhancements, workforce planning, engagement, policy reviews and DEI initiatives.
  • Support core HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, lifecycle admin, GDPR-compliant record-keeping and liaison with payroll.

Experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or senior HR Associate role within a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Exposure to employee relations work (supporting cases, taking notes, drafting communications). Confidence with HR data and reporting: validating, manipulating and interpreting data to support decision-making. Advanced Excel skills. Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, SAP, PeopleHR or similar. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with good commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience building HR dashboards (Excel, Power BI or similar). Project management experience or qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, curious HR professional who wants broader exposure across advisory, data and projects, while recognising that the role includes a significant amount of coordination and administration.
